Kelly + Chris | The Mansion at Valley Country Club

If you live in or near Maryland, the week of Memorial Day was probably a lot of things for you. A remembrance of those who have fallen, a 3-day weekend, the unofficial start of summer… and the first week of sunshine in what felt like FOREVER. The warm weather and sun decided to make it’s debut just in time for Kelly and Chris’ gorgeous Valley Country Club wedding, and it was so appreciated.

After a beautiful ceremony, guests made their way to Valley Country Club where soft pastels and golds set the tone for a night of dinner and dancing. Lanterns lit the room up as Kelly’s dad welcomed guests to the reception and Chris to the family. He shared some advice (from Kelly’s grandfather) with the newlyweds, which was that marriage is simple-- Just give 100% everyday.

The maids of honor, both sisters of the bride, toasted the couple, mentioning how they will miss living together and how well Chris compliments Kelly. The best men joked that they knew Chris couldn’t do any better than Kelly, and that it became very obvious the moment she went on a paintball trip with the group and put up “with all of the shenanigans”.

One of my absolute favorite parts of the night had to have been when Kelly and her dad kicked off dancing with a choreographed dance of their own. As soon as Usher was blasting through the speakers, guests knew they were in for a treat!

Throughout the night it was clear how perfect Kelly and Chris are for each other. Chris has a sweet way of calming Kelly, and you would never guess that they were not only planning a wedding the last few months, but also planning a out-of-state move and the logistics of a new job. Kelly and Chris were both so stress-free and happy, it was a joy to see them celebrate their wedding day and I know each and every guest felt the exact same way!
